23’ Mach-E Premium Ext
Just picked up a used 23 Mach-e premium today (7/8) with 27k miles. When I test drive it i only went on local roads and it was fine, it drove like a typical sports car . After I signed for the car I had an errand to run tonight and went on the interstate and whoa is this thing bouncy and all over the road.

Car returned to dealer on 7/11 for them to look at issue.

Update 1: 7/14
So just a quick follow up. I got the car back into the dealer and they confirmed that something is wrong with the car and they are addressing it. They won’t tell me what’s wrong with it yet other then they confirmed it’s way to rough of a ride and they need more time to diagnose the car. I did get a loaner so they can keep the car as long as it takes to figure it out. Something is broken in the rear end whether that’s suspension or roll bar or some type of rear linkage to make the car wiggle while bouncing down the road. Will update once I have more information.

Update #2 7/16

So on Tuesday I got a call from the service manager stating the following. The reason why your car is all over the road is because the tires we put on weren’t designed for an EV and that’s the reason why it’s all over the road. I said okay but how does that fix the clunking in the rear end? Silence. Service manager says we will call you back once it comes out of paint (has a few dings I wanted to get fixed as part of the purchase deal)

Fast forward to Thursday afternoon. I didn’t hear anything so I expected it was at paint getting fix. Called the service manager at 3:30 and he was gone. No worries I’ll call today Friday morning.

Update #3 - forgot what date it was. 7/18ish?

Called this morning (Friday) no answer left a message. Service manager called me back immediately. “Hey so umm after we put the new EV tires on the car it still didn’t meet our standards for performance” aka it still drove like shit.

Update #4 7/24

Service manager called me back saying the tech working on the car has been out of the office sick all week.

Update #5 7/28

Service manager called me back saying the tech working on the car was actually in a jetski accident last week and he was just getting back into the office.

Update #6 8/1

Sect text to service manager and he called me back saying tech says everything is in spec and it may be an issue with CV shaft or joint and they needed to open a ticket with ford for support.

It's 3 weeks today and i'm at the end of my rope. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get in touch with the BEV team so I can open a ticket/request for review from my end?

I opened a ticket with the BEV team and they are handling the issue from here

Dude, Sorry to hear of your "mis-adventure". Since the problem was not disclosed by the dealer can you unwind the deal?

Update #7 8/3

Called the dealership manager. Said the tech almost figured it out but then he had a vision and joined a monastery in Europe where they take a vow of silence, so he can’t tell anyone what he figured out and we have to start over from scratch.

Update #8 8/4

District manager said they’re flying in a certified tech from Detroit

Update #9 later that day

New tech was arrested by TSA, they won’t let him see a lawyer so we don’t know why yet. In the meantime the janitor decided to take a look at it

I’m sorry, that’s a horrible experience.
