It seems Ford has initiated a refund, which needs a week or two to clear but is now visible in my account as “pending”. I did not request a refund so don’t know if this was the result of my calling the help desk, or if this was done automatically and it is what caused the PU to disappear.

1. I am informing other GT owners that when they sell their GT, the buyer will not automatically get the Upgrade. 2. My question is whether anyone has faced this problem and perhaps figured out a solution.

Just for the fun of it... then and now. I guess back in 2022 the Performance Edition was mostly cosmetic and wheels. And what a difference 3 years make in price, i think these two cars are essentially equivalent.

I know it’s off topic, apologies. Mine was a lease as well. it was not aligned so at 10k miles the tires were terrible. Once I replaced them (and aligned!) I fell in love with the car again. Now I think I will keep my old tires on the new car, they can have the stock ones, a gift from me.

Same here. The above number for OTA could see yesterday's case and repeated that i should go to the dealer ("if not happy with that dealer try another one"!). So I called the dealer again, their response was your car is not showing "actuated" to receive OTA updates, the EV technician responded...

I called Ford to ask why my vehicle is not updating and they said they can see a code TCU DTC U0146 consistently since last summer. The person I was speaking with could not tell what this code is and asked me to call the dealer and ask them. Has anyone heard of this code?

Update: Customer "satisfaction" 22B48 and 23B50, followed by a factory reset, solved the problem, I could now create a backup code.

2022 GT. OTA updates stopped a while ago. I just came back from the dealer for 22B48 and 23B50. I asked the dealer if they would please bring software updates to current. They replied that I am 10 updates behind and they want $1020 to update all ten. @Ford I hope you are watching this...

Dealer appointment on Tuesday for software updates. If the updates were working this would have been fixed. Dealer appointments in the Boston area are given several months later.
