They said that they backed up and cleared the APIM and then restored "as built" and that they're confident that it's a hardware fault... @Mach-Lee - do you think there's an overwhelming risk just having the APIM replaced?
Special thanks to @DevSecOps and @WyldStallyn for your help!
TLDR: My APIM needs to be replaced because it draws too much power at rest. Anyone have any stories, gotchas?
Pretty much since I’ve owned my 2021 CR1, I’ve gotten “ELECTRICAL SYSTEM DRAIN SERVICE REQUIRED” error messages in FordPass...
Update: Many days later, I still receive the Power Drain errors even though ChargeSmart is disconnected. I'm taking my car in to have it diagnosed on 8/24. According to the dealer there are "dozens" of diagnostic codes popping... Also, ChargeSmart can't track my charging through the connection...
They didn't say much... Just disconnected my FordPass integration. I have a line to some of their support and exec team members. Happy to pass along issues and feature requests.
I have both my FordPass and ChargePoint accounts connected to Charge Smart MA. I’ve been having the “Electrical System Drain” notification issue too. How can I disconnect FordPass from Charge Smart? Doesn’t seem to be any way from inside the app.
I signed up and earned some initial rebates, but now my FordPass account is disconnected and every attempt to reconnect it results in a “failed to get request details” error. Anyone else? Any suggestions?
