    Saying Farewell to My MME

Yes, that's correct. After that, the dealer sold it for $10K more than original MSRP.

    Saying Farewell to My MME

I walked away with $10K, so it was a bit of a no-brainer. I bought a car that gets me 600 miles of range on a 15-gallon tank, so I'm about break-even on cost traveling with fuel versus EA charging. I don't drive much when I'm not making the long trip because I'm WFH. A tank can last me three...

Tennessee FS: 20X9 Signature SV103 Wheels in Gloss Gunmetal

I'd like $3000 for the set, but am willing to listen to reasonable offers. I'm also not restricted to buyers in Tennessee. I regularly transit between Knoxville and Chicago, so if you want to take shipping out of the equation, I can meet potential buyers somewhere along the I-75/I-64/I-65/I-80...

Tennessee Sold: FS: 20X9 Signature SV103 Wheels in Gloss Gunmetal

I'm selling my set of Signature wheels, model in the subject line. I sold my Mach-E and put the standard Premium 19" wheels back on it before I did. These wheels are in like new condition, no curb rash or finish issues at all. The car had been in storage since last fall, so there wasn't any...

    Saying Farewell to My MME

I love my car, but life changed pretty quickly and it's become impractical to own. We started doing a 60/40 split between our house in Tennessee and a rental property in Illinois in March after selling our house there. The biggest problem we have is there's no charging availability at the rental...

Customer Satisfaction Program 21P22 - Software Calibration Update

I had my software updated manually at the dealership last Friday under the TSB and am seeing the auto hold and 1PD issue repeatedly since. I'm taking it back for the scheduled glass recall in a couple days and plan on telling the dealer about it when I'm there.

It is a sad, sad day in the Dimwit household…

Hopefully it doesn't blow over. I don't want to imagine the mean dent it would put in the hood.

Windshield Recall - A really, really disappointing experience.

Seeing this makes me even more reluctant to take mine in for the recall work.

Starting to get worried now lol

I took my car to Tennessee last Sunday to stay down there for the winter avoiding the horrible road salt they use here in Chicagoland. It was 37° most of the drive down and I was averaging 1.8mi/KWh at 72mph. The last time I made the drive in the spring when it was over 50° most of the time I...

    Mach-E Lowering Spring Development

I haven't noted any bump steer at all. The car still goes straight as an arrow. As for the ride, it's far better with the springs I got from @50 Deep. I'm glad I invested in them. The ones he made are much more substantial than the stock springs. The lowered stance looks much more aggressive...

    Mach-E Lowering Spring Development

That really tested my patience, @markboris, but I got it done like you said I would. Hopefully you think it looks better now. :)

    Mach-E Lowering Spring Development

@markboris, how did you get the knuckle to line up with the control arm when putting the new springs in? @50 Deep said he had a lot of problems with it. I can't get it back together at all.

Trunk opened on its own and hit the garage door... Come on Ford!!!

Yeah, I was sitting in the garage in my folding chair just enjoying a summer day. Thing just opened on its own and I didn't even have my phone with me. It happened one other time, but nothing since.

    Factory GT Wheels

The MSRP of the GTPE wheels is actually pretty good. If I recall, they're forged and not cast. A good aftermarket forged wheel is going to cost you around $1K or more each. At least if you go aftermarket, you get a lot more design choices from vendors like Signature if you reach out to @50 Deep.
