i think we will all have to return them if we used that financing plan. No chance the market price will be as high as the buyout that is on paper - so they either negotiate with us or take the cars back. Why would we pay more than market price for a used car with a battery that we don't know...

maybe stupid comment here - but i think eventually they will remove all cables and we will have one in our car to plug into the charger. I had heard that thieves are stealing the public charger cables because they have so much copper in them. Not sure if this is legit.
I have been told by two auto body guys that Ford is notorious for soft paint, which can chip easily. That does not mean poor build quality. I got a ceramic 5y on my GT, but that does not really prevent chips, dings. I was too cheap to get PPF.

good question though. I got the same notice and felt the same way. I had the software fix done but it did not get registered with FoMoCo because it was part of another software update the deal did.

Just a heads up for anyone who follows this thread. I ordered the Slime 10179 "refill" kit and it does not fit the Ford tire mobility kit. The tank on the slime refill is about 1" too long, so it won't snap into the ford device. I am going to return it and go to the Ford dealer to pay the $70...
