You can tell it's a GT because it has 4 drive modes.

(Sets Unbridled Extend, never changes it)

Can it be de-uglified? Like all the extraneous plastic bits (wing, stupid ground effects, etc) and all the useless decals and so on be removed?

Can't be a GT, it runs at top speed for more than 5 seconds.

Maybe? I'm not sure. I couldn't justify $50 when I just picked my real one up and have a list of goodies I want to buy for it.
