Let's just say you're both better at judging the deceleration of 1PD than you think. I often either have to hit the accelerator or the brake to get to the lineI've experienced this as well. But I think we're both talking out of our ass.
And your skill - subconscious or otherwiseMany times thinking.... will it stop will it stop .... and yes most of the time it stops right before the stop or red light, but I think it has more to do with the curve of the 1-PD deceleration
definitelyI actually consider it a challenge to gauge exactly when to remove the foot and stop at the right spot. Sometimes I end up having to give it a little juice to make up the difference, others I have to engage the break, but most times I am right on. It's an artform to become one with the pedal ?
How do the drivers next you you feel about that?If you turn the steering wheel this increases the braking, I have done few tests to see how the 1PD handled 90 degrees left/right turn
The force is strong with youI've had the same thought. It consistently just stops at the line at stop lights in 1PD without me knowingly doing anything special. I'm sure it's just that I've trained myself exactly when and how to pull off of the pedal to get it to stop where I want but it feels like it might be helping a bit.
