Yes. Most of the time.

I did not do the recent recall yet, but I had the two SSMs for Bluetooth and the driver door done.
I was told I am upgraded to the latest (including paak upgrade) when they changed out the SOBDMC module. The power up 1.4.0 I have not received OTA but maybe it was done? I have command over charging now and have to say it is all now working awesome for me. Couple of small glitches but they were even worse when 3.24 hit prior to it going in. It seems to me right now it gets confused over time. Like win95 clean install required regularly. There is room for refinement of soft/firmware but for now mine is just working. I hope OTA is an actual thing with clean installs regularly. At least a refresh once and awhile.

The bottom row of mine has only ever worked when bluetooth was connected and greyed out when not. They work fine when they are connected and tells you above that row if you are. I think I tried the horn once but the trunk and windows work. Appears they added horn to the top row in the latest version of PAAK. Sorry gotta go charge my phone again.

The buttons on FordPass that allow you to open/close windows, etc. do not work on my device. They worked at one point but haven't worked at all in a while. Any ideas?
I guess I was hallucinating when I said windows up/down used to work via data. In any event, looks like I really forked myself. No matter what FordPass refuses to connect via BT to let me up/dn windows or work as PAAK. So, I uninstalled & reinstalled FordPass last night and went through PAAK setup again and the car refused to recognize my phone. I guess I need to unlink my phone from the car and start from scratch. Also, too Ford needs to figure out the phone battery drain issue. If I am sitting at my desk all day or at home just chilling it is constantly "trying to connect to your vehicle" I imagine that has something to do with the battery drain.

I read somewhere here that FP 3.24 started to blacklist some android phones and 3.22 was recommend as a hard install for those with that problem. I think it would refuse to connect to install paak so if it installed for you that may not be it. You need to find/add Bluetooth again in the ford/phone menus and pair them. This is the third version of FP that drains iphones. Nothing new at this stage, don't mess with those android guys thou.

Interesting. Ever since 3.24 FP has been useless for me and no that you mention it, I saw a popup on FP last night that said something about my phone (S21 Ultra) not being compatible. I will revert to 3.22, see how that works. Why would FP blacklist phones, especially Samsungs?

Strange AF. For what it's worth, I have a Pixel 2 XL, and ever since 3.24.0, I've got a severe battery drain issue with this app. I've resorted to force closing it every time I'm done driving, or else my phone heats up and dumps about 4%-5% additional battery per hour just running FordPass.
Fingers crossed for a 3.25 update that fixes this on Android.

There is no requirement we run FordPass when we don't need it. We do not have to run it just because we can. If we're at home, or at work and won't be needing the car, force quit the app. Launch it again when you're headed to the car. Save yourself the aggravation of having it bleed your battery dry.

Not like it has any communication or interaction with the car after the vehicle is turned off. It appears that may need to come from Fordpass servers and not direct communication thru bluetooth or wi-fi or the car falls into a really deep sleep (powered off). Fordpass servers R.I.P.

My cheap refurbished Iphone is 256 g and holds a lot of lossless tunes but not as worried about its battery as I am with others batteries I have bought. I have no need to buy the latest and greatest as they do not really do jack. Burn baby burn ;) . 3.25 is out lets see where that goes for a week. Still no interactive reporting of status that I see.

Yeah, Horn and Lights stopped requiring Bluetooth several versions ago on iOS. Not sure about Android.
That’s why I wished those two platforms had differing version numbers
