Just chiming in that I have a 2023 GT that has also been just sitting at Avon lake. Mine arrive on Dec 13th. Ford's current eta is 12/31-01/07. Car is destined for Cleveland so I had been hoping it would move quickly. Turns out that was very wrong.

I can't understand why so many cars are getting hung up in Avon Lake right now. My dealer has been useless in getting any additional information at this point.

Sorry to hear yours and X1Nightmare have been waiting even longer.

I feel so terrible for the last hold outs waiting. I hope the tax break isn't in question after the new year for y'all.

I don't mean to rub salt in the wound, but I just got a call from the dealer that ours came in Thurs or Fri. I should be going to get it in the next couple days.

He had no idea about Ford Options, but was looking it all up while we were on the phone. Seems like a good and honest guy.

So I went and chatted with the sales manager at my dealership today. Guy was extremely friendly and wasted no time pulling up my car tracking info with Vinview and showed it to me. Confirms the car has indeed been sitting at Avon since Dec 13th or so. I asked why it is been stuck there and he said "yeah, seems it is a pretty common problem, not sure why though." He mentioned that the Avon finishing plant used to house the old thunderbirds and econovans. Said they used to send trucks there to pick up stuff all the time back in the day. Said that is a big no no from Ford corporate now and they are not allowed to do it anymore.

Vinview eta is showing Jan 3rd. He did say that ford has instructed them to inform mach-e purchasers that "while they should check with a tax professional, as they are currently aware the tax incentive on the Mach-e will continue until at least March when the IRS issues additional rulings" Taking that with a grain of salt but if really true, still stings to have to wait another full year but not missing out on the $7500 would be a relief.

Just finished up taking the spring spacers out and doing my paper work end of it, clean up has it now, she looks great!

Thanks! It’s a definite relief that it’s here. I didn’t get time to sign the papers so she’s got a dealer plate for the evening lol, but tomorrow she will be officially mine!

Love that grabber blue! It was a toss up for me between grabber blue and the vapor blue metallic. I went vapor blue and from seeing folks that have posted pics, it looks amazing but I still kind of love the grabber blue.

Zigma, I just got the notification from Harris Ford that mine came in. Want to exchange your Blue with a white one? White is real nice like. With that $7500 difference in tax credit, you'll be able to wrap it whatever color you want.

They won't match my deal from March 24th 2022 and tax credit been extended to March 2023

Oh really? Didn't know that about the Tax Credit. Yeah, likely not. I am not sure what your dealer can do, but, I'd see what freebies you can get to make up for the pain. The all weather Mach E floor mats are real nice like.
