Are any of those 20-30s prices in SoCal.?
I'm in SoCal. My services were:
10k - $35
20k - $29.99
30k - $39.99
All the same dealership...lol. Makes no sense...just whatever the SW was feeling I guess.

There's nothing in the owners manual that distinguishes between recommended and mandatory (at least not that I could find) so I'm not sure where or why you think that.

Additionally, the Ford Warranty states that Scheduled Maintenance is:

Furthermore, it states:

So, you go ahead and do you, but I wouldn't go around telling people that the service manual maintenance schedule is optional. We have the "right to repair" so you can do it yourself as long as you keep records of that, but foregoing it completely is another thing.
If you want your tires rotated, just take your car into pretty much any tire store. At least here in Oregon, they'll do it for free, especially if it's a company you normally buy tires from.
Same in ca. More chances they don't do it properly though

Ford of Upland. Across the street from a new Tesla Service Center. lol. That doesn't have anything to do with the pricing...I just find it funny.

Better make sure that tire store knows how to properly lift the Mach-E...
I don't think Ford did themselves any favors by putting holes in the battery rails. They look like lift points.

I can't be 100% sure, but when I took mine to America's tires (Discount tires) it looks like the jack was pushed in a little far. So they probably lifted the car on the battery rails.

Mine was free for the inspection, $27 for the tire rotation.
Yeah I passed on the tire rotation because I had swapped to winter tires and back to summers by 10k, so I didn’t need it.

Probably should have specified that ?

Wow, I lived right there. I've boycotted that dealership because they wanted a huge ADM 2 years ago when I ordered the MME.

Seems like their rates are really reasonable now.

I've actually decent experiences with the dealership. I didn't have a great initial experience with them when I bought my explorer from them about 8 years ago. But when I was looking for my MME, they were the closest dealership with one (before the ADMs were being applied). I've had pretty good experiences with their service department for the last 8 years. Even better when they moved from Foothill to 20th.

That is why I stand there, right in front of the bay, or even come into the bay.

My F-150 got new wheels courtesy of DT because I didn't pay close enough attention. Crew of 4, and a supervisor. I lost track. Using sledge on rear wheels (not unusual), except he hit the wheel twice and dented it. That's ok, machine that takes tire off and on (new tires), scratched all 4 chrome wheels.

I watch like a hawk.

You've never experienced the joy of taking your car into a Porsche dealership. They charge you 200$ just to open up the hood. Oil changes cost $600 there.
My last Mercedes cost me $480 for the first oil change and service Which, similarly, was just a bunch of “ Inspects” and “checks”.

Taking your EV in for 10k service, well under warranty, is a ripoff. Drive your car. If you’ve got an issue, take it in.
Yep. If it ain’t t broke………

Keep in mind that declining to Have a dealer perform these services does not necessarily affect your warranty, unless Ford can connect a failure to a lack of maintenance, such as my neighbor who had his Toyota for three years without so much as checking the oil let alone changing it. When the engine seized with less than two quarts in the pan, Toyota balked at the warranty repair.
