12/19/22 Build Week

Still in limbo here. Ford says that it's still in production, but they think delivery will take place between January 30th and Feb 5th. The dealer is not optimistic and has reached out for more specific details through their inside reps.

I got the same BS. That deliver date is a guess. They simply take the build date and add 6 weeks or so.
No one has been able to tell me anything about my MME allegedly built on Dec 22nd, other than "we have no idea, but hopefully it gets loaded on a rail car soon.." & "there is a shortage of qualified truckers"
I'm getting more and more frustrated every day and less and less excited about the car with every passing day. And the days have been passing since April 8th!!

I think that's where I'm most frustrated. I ordered my wife's car on March 11th. I have seen many folks on this forum order theirs afterward, including in September, that have received their car. Even before the end of the year so, they got the tax break on their GTPE they ordered in September. Now my sticker is $59K, and I won't get any tax credit, and I don't have a car. Ugh.

PS, I could cancel my order and pick up a Tesla, Kia, etc..but I wanted this car. I'll stick it out.

I had another order that I had cancelled but is somehow still on my account.
THAT build date was 12-5 and i just got notified that it is being dropped off at the dealer. MINE? Still not even shipped.. just sitting..

Took delivery of mine yesterday in AZ.

Mine is still showing in production. My dealer says it has already shipped. I left a vm asking for a vinview screenshot. Hopefully it is actually moving.

After reading this thread I decided to call and see what was going on. Our car is a select trim production week of 12/19/22. Apparently the car is awaiting an inspection before it gets shipped. The tracking does not say it is built, still “In Production” Ford says it was built early January, been waiting just chilling for 3 weeks it seems.?!?!

When we talked to the dealer, when we got the production date in October, they said we will probably get it in march, which seems to be right.

That's WAAAAY more info than Ford EVER gave me.
The pessimist in me says "these cars were f'd up from being built by unmotivated workers at Christmas / New Years time & Ford is finding problems so they won't ship them"
The OPTOMIST in me says "These cars are taking longer than any other build week because Ford wants the perfectly updated with all the latest software etc"
Let's hope it's the second.. ?

My Tracker went from "Built" back to "In-Production". Last time I had spoken to both my Dealer AND Ford, they stated that it was awaiting rail pickup. Since it went back to in-production, Ford is now stating it is in the factory and even told me that I was mistaken for even thinking it was close to shipping.
I am thinking someone royally messed up down there.

The one I'm waiting on is a Vapor Blue, Prem AWD Standard Range.
If I didn't have the $6,500 private offer, I'd already be driving a MY (like EVERYONE else on my block..)
