Interesting. Mine woke up today, had been in deep sleep, so I wonder if it is there too. The location is disabled, so I cannot tell.

I just get THIS message..
Does anyone know what that means for the fate of my allegedly Dec 22nd built car?

How did you get that, pretty cool.

When VIN was assigned, I added it to my Ford app, then I requested activation once built and someone at the plant accepted the activation, then it got disabled for a little bit and then reappeared, while being stuck several weeks at the plant in mexico.

It means that nobody from the plant has accepted your activation request (yet), which is not terrible because once activation takes place, the free trials begin...

It's SIX WEEKS since built.. I just wish SOMEONE could tell me what's going on..

My activation got accepted early January, then it spend a whole month getting moved around very short trips within the plant which is how it accumulated 20 miles, can speculate that it was maybe missing a component, or needed a repair, or a software update, etc, I suspect your vehicle went through the same

FYI for all those of you tracking, I bailed on my order but the car, built 12/22 arrived at my dealer in MA today.

2 - If so.. When was it shipped?
3 - or did it "justshow up" ?

I got an email on 12/29 saying it was shipped. I had checked with ford chat a few days before that and they told me it was shipped and gave me the location at the time, which I don’t remember but it was the main train depot where they load the cars. I never sought any more updates because I let it go when the tax credit info changed. I was already on the fence about it given the volatility of the market right now. Now that it’s come in I have major FOMO but oh well! I’ll wait for the next gen model and hope they add standard modern features like ventilated seats and a heating system that works in the winter!

Yeah mine’s stuck too. My dealer is doing their best to get an answer. All they were told is it needed a part.

I have also been stuck in "in production". originally my dealer said it had shipped but i think that was based on the estimated delivery that was showing in their system. they just called and said they called the ford rep to figure out what was going on and was told the vehicle was in "ship hold" but is now be prepared to ship and should ship sometime this week.

Took delivery today of the 2023 Select in PA. (Ordered August 2022.) Koch 33 (in case anyone is in the area) was really good. A tad salesy here and there but nothing beyond the usual and overall extremely helpful. I think the Select is a solid car especially if they get an extended battery option at some point. Not convinced on the Premium (for the price) but I'm not a real gearhead. Hope y'all get sorted either way!

So the '23 select AWD that I had ordered back in August showed up on Thursday, I told my dealer I did not want it, since the price only came down $600 vs a lot more for the other trims. I told him the only way I'd consider it is if the took off $3K from sticker. They claim they are trying to make it work. What it really means is that they have no takers at sticker so far...

You guys are all making me jealous.. My Dec 22nd build (Prem AWD SR) is STILL in Mexico at the plant and not yet shipped as of this morning..
