I am so sorry to hear that. Have you gone over to your dealer and asked about what you would like to have happen? Perhaps bringing printouts of all the delays might encourage them to want to make it right with you.

Thought about that but the dealer is not at fault.

Ford's logistics / transport is at fault.

I may end up walking away and getting BMW or VW leased where the full $7500 is credited and then buy it out afterwards.

I was thinking that if you went in there before the deadline, explained (probably not for the first time) your situation, your dealer may be able to get Ford to give you some relief, and I don't mean points!

Now that the tax credit got chopped in half, anyone still going to pick their's up ?

I am wavering....

Looking at the $52K Mercedes EQB EV w/ $7500 tax credit cash bonus on a lease then buying it out...

What lease payment are they offering you?

Base EQB 250 with $7500 lease cash + $1500 Conquest EV cash + $2000 dealer discount = $550 / month including 9.5% monthly tax.

Very tempted...

That sounds like a really tough deal to beat, esp if there's one available to you now. Have you looked at/sat in/driven one? I looked it up this morning, and I do wonder if I should find one on a lot and go take a look. The specs I care about appear similar between the base EQB 250 and MME Premium RWD SR I have on order (options, space). The MME is a bit more powerful, I think - but coming from a Pathfinder and most recently a 2003 Honda Odyssey, almost anything will feel like a HUGE upgrade!

But, each time I show my husband a different option (most recently, Venza hybrid, and before that, MY), he says "just wait for your car." The slashed tax credit has me re-thinking again and again, esp if Ford's lease deals suck when mine hits the lot.

Right now, in NY, there is no lease deal!
Dealer says he expects a new program on May 2nd..
Lets see what happens when my car comes in. Leasing is my preference.

I haven't test driven the EQB yet - just saw it posted on another forum from a local person at the same dealership we are both close by.

The specs on the 250 EQB is not that great, but for a standard range, 70kW battery, and decent HP/torque shouldn't be an issue as I am comparing it with a Premium Mach E - RWD - standard range.

I am more intrigued with the 7 passenger EQB option for 2 little jump seats as a 3rd row...

I am still going to pick mine up when it is delivered. I really like the look of the MME Premium and while the tax credit is nice it was not a huge factor in my purchase decision. it's been a lot of back and forth on being able to get the credit and then not getting it so i think i am just going to stick it out no matter what.
