I am still going to pick mine up when it is delivered. I really like the look of the MME Premium and while the tax credit is nice it was not a huge factor in my purchase decision. it's been a lot of back and forth on being able to get the credit and then not getting it so i think i am just going to stick it out no matter what.
Same for me. (although not sure I'd say that if I were a year + into my wait - I'm at 6 months today) I have looked and looked, and just haven't found anything I like more at a similar price point, as far as appearance, size, etc.

Anyone get a car delivered since Saturday?
My car allegedly is in a rail car from KC since Tuesday, however, every day that it's not delivered and with every Tesla price cut, it's going to be harder and harder for me to take this car.
It seems that EVERY car munufacturer except for Ford is giving their customers the $7,500 (or $3,750) back on leases. The MME is now more expensive to lease than a Model Y or an EV6 Wind.
I guess that is because, within 50 miles of my zipcode, there are 78 AWD EV6 Winds, Tesla available every day in every color and configuration, and within 100 miles of my zip code there are 18 Premiums and only TWO Prem AWD SR like my car. NONE in the Vapor Blue I have coming in. Why should they discount or even give a decent deal of ANY kind on a car that isn't available? Basically, if I DO take the car, they have me at their mercy with my family jewels firmly in their grip...

Yah, I am getting very soured with my MME order.

56 weeks now and no sign - still says "in transit".
In transit since December 22 - hmmmm - maybe they lost it.???

I am not liking the half tax credit which I should be entitled since it should have arrived well before the 4/18 tax cut.

Ford needs to pass thru the $7500 credit on their leases to make it at least palatable.

Agree. I'm surprised they aren't passing it thru to leases, when so many others are!

My Premium AWD SR is (allegedly) coming next week.
Will I now NOT be getting BlueCruise included? ?

Will the new lower prices on my 57 week ordered '23 MME get me another $4K off ????

Maybe better to just get a '23.5 with LFP batteries and walk away from my year long order ??

Well, got an update. It's on a truck. The window for showing up at the dealership is now Today to the 16th. (About a week sooner than the last estimate).

With the 2023.5 I'm now in limbo. I was in the "Get it no matter what"" mode before the latest LFP announcement.

Now....I'm No sure.

Because of the long wait, I can pay in cash for my car now.

Unknowns: I have been told I still have a private offer on the table. How will the new pricing with the new battery affect that?

Performance: They are clear on the extra 47hp for AWD, does that get eaten up in the extra weight? The RWD standard range will not be as quick. If the AWD is the same... I life in the south the LFP chemistry seems more attractive. If the car that will be here is quicker... well, I'm not that excited about the LFP.

What will the extra battery weight do to the ride? did they beef up the other elements?

I'm more confused than ever. If I take ownership, will my car be inferior in most categories compared to the cheaper LFP?

Ugh

I'm in the same boat.
My car is 25 miles away -they tell me next Friday the 12th at the latest.
However, looking at what Ford wants to lease this vehicle for, I'm getting closer to an EV6 or an AWD Tesla Model 3. (As a reminder, I already picked up a Volvo C40 March 22nd after getting sick of waiting for the MME. Have 2019 Volvo XC60 that drinks gas and will dump that when the MME comes in - whether it's the MME or something else..)
Let's see what offer I get.
A week ago, the prices were higher, but the lease deals were about $100 month better.
What a roller coaster!

HOLY CRAP!!!!
Well that explains things..
What a saga!
EVERY time there was a derailment I said to myself.. "I wonder if my MME is on there"
I'm speechless...

The CRAZIER part is that Ford is reading your posts!
CRAZY!
I wish they would read mine and offer the $7,500 off leases like every other manufacturer.
The leases are NOT competitive with KIA & Tesla these days..
It might work for them now because there are no cars, but the days of full lots are coming..
They HAVE to know that many MME buyers are coming from MB, BMW, Volvo etc (Me for example) and never would have condidered a Ford before this car. Missed opportunity for them if they don't deal..
