Spoke to Ford rep and they tell me it's been built since 12/22 and is awaiting shipment with an estimated date to dealer "last week of Feb or first month of March"

My last RWD was a 2013 BMW 3 series. Didn't work out well for me here in NY. Got stuck in snow (even ½ inch on hills) too many times..

Ford just told me via chat that the expected delivery date was January 30th- Feb 15th. But they said it was still in production and not built yet.

I thought my 12/19 was moving, but turns out I regained location through the app and it's still stuck in the assembly plant, so the estimated delivery given by the dealer of 1/18 is not going to happen, this is a blessing in disguise since after the tesla pricing cuts, I am most likely walking away from my '23 select AWD standard range sticker $51K, no longer seems like a compelling value proposition and I don't feel like loosing 1,000's of dollars by driving it off the lot, although that was the normal pre-pandemic ?

Whelp, Ford’s going to get a wake up call with $53k MYs out there. Right now there don't seem to be any incentives on the MME but the Maverick gets 2.9% for 48m? Yikes. Keeping in my order… For now…
