I was driving my mach e (2021 with 58K miles) and stopped at a friedns house. I had 53% battery life left. Came back out and opened the car and zero lights on in the inside. Completely dead. Of course I tried starting it and nothing. Went to pop the frunk on the app and nothing. App showed zero notifications and never any warnings over the 12v battery on screen or app. I got out to pop frunk and stupid me closed the door. Now it wont open but luckly had my jumper to pop frunk open for first time. Got it popped open and jumped the car. Started easily and again no issues on app. App caid car is healthy. Drove home and then turned car off and completely dead again. I had to jump it all over again to at least move it to where I can let it sit for a few days. My guess is the 12v battery is dead but never got any warning. I tried to search online for another 12v and I dont see them. I see some tutorials on how to change a battery but cant find where to buy one except one place thats $500 and never heard of the company.

So my many questions...
1. Does this sound like the 12v battery?
2. If so how do you get one to change it?
3. I assume with 58K miles this is not under warranty but one I see for sell on website I found comes with 48month warranty.
4. If you experienced 12v battery going dead how did you get it fixed (if under warranty I know how you got it fixed but assuming mine is not)

And now the only way to see the soc of the 12v battery (without a external device)has been removed from the Ford online dashboard. That was a very disappointing move on Fords part.

See if one of your local Ford dealerships has a mobile service van. Mine came and replaced my 12v in my parking garage a couple weeks ago, $275 for battery+labor and they did it same day.
