My brakes are worn! I went to Brembo's website and found pads, but no rotors. Question for y'all, I don't want to change just the pads and not have new rotors and at least have them turned, what experiences do y'all have? I don't want to go away from Brembo, if I use just a motorcraft pad and rotor, would I also have to change the caliper out?

Thanks!

Since your car come with Brembo brakes from the factory, the OEM replacement Mororcraft pads for the GT-PE will be the same as what came with the car. If you need rotors, the OEM rotors will be the same as what your car came from the factory with. If you have minor scoring or wastage on your rotors they can also be resurfaced. 😁🐩

I'm just curious: your EV brakes are worn out? How many miles do you have? My 2018 Ford Edge just passed 100,000 miles and is still on its original brakes. I would think that an EV with regenerative braking would have brakes that last just as long if not longer. Unless, that is, you have been racing the car for the past 50,000 miles -- or whatever. :)

2022 GTPE, has 70K miles on it. Don't feel like I brake hard. I don't use reg braking.

Fun facts to know and tell: You do use regenerative braking, but may not realize it. The display will show how much regeneration if in any mode but Whisper. You don't need to use 1pd mode to regen. Regeneration is the initial braking while the brake pads provide braking for more forceful braking.
Do you normally brake forcefully or easier? If your brake pads are worn at 70k I'm thinking forcefully.

Hope this helps.

Came here to say this. It does not matter what drive mode, or 1pd setting you use. When you press the brake pedal, the vehicle determines how much regen to apply up to the regen limit at that speed and then also applies the brake to reach your requested deceleration.
