Hello, has any more concrete information come out via press releases / PR events to help clarify the conflicting/old info on ford.com? I'm trying to decide on a trim level for an ER AWD model. Here's what I'm finding:
I understand these ranges are all handwavy, but consistent EPA testing methods should allow direct comparison between the trim levels. My biggest use case is about a 155 mi drive including climbing up to just about 8000 ft (16.3 kWh of potential energy in a MME w/ 500 lb load), which puts me on the borderline of getting there in the GT with a comfortable reserve. Enroute DCFC options are currently mediocre, but may improve. If the CA Route 1 is really about 10% more efficient because of the tires and rims I may go with it.
- Scrolling down to specs at https://www.ford.com/suvs/mach-e/
- CA Route 1 = 306 mi (and says 305 mi for RWD
)
- Premium = 270 mi
- GT = 270 mi
- CA Route 1 = 306 mi (and says 305 mi for RWD
- Order screen where you pick the powertrain
- CA Route 1 = 300 mi (305 mi for RWD)
- Premium = 270 mi
- GT = 270 mi
