Hey guys, I wanted to start a thread where everyone who has a MME on the way to the PNW can talk and trade info about shipping updates. I was part of the 11/14 build week, and my general timeline is below. @scrb31 from the 10/24 build week messaged me and I thought it could be useful to share info as we near the end of the year and keep our fingers crossed that they come in soon.

Dealer finally sent me the VinView, I'm on the train heading through Minneapolis on it's way to Seattle as of 12/12!

I "shipped" a day after you, but all I've gotten from my dealer is a reply on 12/5 that it was in Kansas City. No specifics on ramp or date it arrived there.
I assume the Portland area cars go through Seattle, so hopefully I'm not too far behind you.

The BNSF route to the PNW typically goes through Spokane, then SW towards Portland, then up to Seattle. I was in the 9/26 build week and picked up my car on 11/23. Based on my experience, once you get to Argentine it gets murky. Some cars built after mine arrived at 6M after mine arrived in the Portland/Seattle area before mine. Makes no sense. The best way to stay updated I found was to pester Ford chat daily once it reaches 6M. At some point they will give you a railcar number. Once that happens they won't have any more updated information. Once I got that info, I found out that it took another week for that car to actually start moving (tracked by a forum member for me), and then about a week for the train to arrive.

My dealer used United Road to get from the final rail yard to the dealer. I think a lot of dealers do. You can use this method to track once it gets close to the rail yard. Maybe this is common knowledge in the build week threads now, but it wasn't when I discovered it a couple months ago.

I finally got that VinView report from my dealer on 12/12. before I couldn't get a single piece of info from them so I gave up trying. Everything I've found out to date has been working through Ford Chat employees, which seem to vary employee to employee as to what they will provide you with. My hot tip has been to greet them using their name, and ask for the latest shipping update. If they provide partial info, I've had luck asking if they can see the date of the latest update (knowing full well that they can, just playing dumb to be polite)

Latest update, train passed through Sprague, WA this morning on it's way to Seattle. Delivery early next week looks likely, fingers crossed it will be home this time next week.

Well I finally got FC to give me a railcar number, but I couldn't get the BNSF phone line to give me anything (probably user error).

You can't track BNSF rail cars, their tracking is locked down to employees.

My MME was last seen in the mysterious Argentine, KS on 12/7. Hoping to see it get to Portland before year end. I noticed a 23 MME from a newer batch delivered to my dealer already. Maybe that's good news ?

He didn't give me any concrete info, but today my dealer contact said that he expects it to arrive before the end of the year (potentially this week) based on where it is.
