Can a class action be filed for this? I know there are a few class actions for lesser things in other products going through the courts right now.
Somebody already did and it was dismissed. Ford has already recalled the product and provided a free replacement.

Word of mouth brand damage is far more effective than a lawsuit. Family and friends who are aware of my experience know not to consider @Ford Motor Company

OK thx.

Overall, my customer experience with @Ford Motor Company is not good:

1) If your statement "All ‘21-‘23 GT models do this by design, it was not an update or software change after the fact that reduced performance. Your statement is false." is indeed a fact, then my Mach-E should not have faced a contactor failure.

2) Dealership service department should not be feeding me BS about power reduction.

3) Inferior product design, hardware and software are the root causes. Ford needs to do better by quality based customers like myself.

4) A vehicle labeled as a "Mustang" that displays the "GT" badge should have been built more robustly. WOT events should not cripple it. They obviously did not test it as thoroughly as they should have before putting it on the market.
Lee is indeed correct. We found out about the 5-second limit and first jail bar’s appearance at 72 mph very shortly after the first world-wide delivery of a 2021 GT-PE. Ford was silent about the performance limiter for a very long time. They lengthened the limit with the 2024 GT (hence their 11.8 second quarters at 114 vs. ours at 12.8 at 103), but prior owners are currently saddles with the shorter limit. The limiter was insufficient to prevent the first generation HVBJB from popping like popcorn. The second generation was slightly better. So far the third generation GT HVBJB seems to be holding up. 🤷‍♂️🐩

Heh no kidding. I got the LK9Z-10C666-BRM part when I got my SVS that became an SSN. I’m going to try to blow it up when the weather gets better in order to get a -C or -CRM part. 🤷‍♂️🐩
Also, make sure you can get it above 88mph to make sure you don't have that leaky motor problem!

the original complainant had a pretty tenuous claim to seek relief, the first litigant, a woman named amber, didn't actually have the hvjb fail on her car, but she'd read about it, and was "concerned" so she turned her car into the dealership and sued for $5 million. I'd be curiuos if someone who has had say, two or three hvjb failures might be better positioned to file.

They would just offer a buyback, which has actually happened with some of the people that had multiple failures and complained.
