2023 Mach e GTPE

OK - Just pulled into garage and plugged in my Mach e 2023 GPRE - and got the blue circle around the charge port (it only actively charges at night per schedule) - went in the house an got a notice on my phone from the Ford app of charge fault - went out and unplugged car and replugged - now with orange circle around the charge port indicator - the car will not start and I get a message to STOP SAFELY NOW. Have tried unplugging charge cord and replugging with no change. I cannot get the car out of park or turn the steering wheel. So stuck - reason? ideas? help? Thanks

Thanks Lee - Actually, I had already done everything outlined in the first steps - except trying to start it again. I had unplugged the car and left it alone for at least 1/2 hour. So went out to start it, and it worked. Do we know what triggers this problem?

Send your VIN for a check. There are a number of things that can trigger it.
