2023 Mach E Rotor scoring

Had the car since last August. The car has 3,000 plus miles on it. Notice scoring on left rear rotor. We made an app. to have it looked at.

Anyone else notice that on their Mach E?

Get to speed. Shift to N, apply brakes gently. Shift to D, get to speed, repeat. After say 3 times, pull over somewhere and look at rotors.

Then, cancel appt.

Interesting. Shifting to neutral is better than turning off one pedal driving?

Turning off 1PD doesn't turn off regenerative braking.

Right. ALL MODES use blended braking, i.e. regen, then pads at the very end (or pads if you slam on the brakes). Rotors and pads get rust. Shifting to neutral turns off any regen, you get brake pads on rotors.

I do it about once a week or so, and after washing the car at home.

Well we just a little bit of what you suggested and it is cleaner! We are going to do that some more!

Highly doubt it's an issue. Lots of posts on this.
