My dealership for whatever reason thinks he can place an order at 1 pm PST today. The new increased pricing will not take effect until 8/30. So I’m wondering if he’ll be able to order at 2022 pricing. Time will tell.

Seems pretty unlikely to get it at 2022 pricing...

I did talk to my dealer as well and they basically said they might be able to order later today. So I'd figure I'd call back this evening. I'd hope someone will post here if they're able to get an order in.

I'd very interested to hear about this.... Because the 22s have been shutdown since months ago and there is no more allocation for them... I was trying to do this I think a month back?...There was a dealer in a small town out in ILL they had 3 allocations for 22s they never used that was for that dealer... But they couldn't use them anymore because the configurations were shutdown and Ford was not accepting anything more for 22s I'd be very interested if they are able to do this because I'd like their number

Since the Premium pricing in incorrect on your link, here is the correct 2023 pricing:

So here in California land of 10% tax the delta (22 vs 23) for a Premium Ext Bat is $9400. That's a little hard to swallow....SMH.

My dealer in Milwaukee said orders would open today. Was messaging with my sales person yesterday and he told me to come in to get the x-plan pricing. The manager also had sent me “Aug 25” earlier this month.

What is x plan pricing?

That would be massive if the new prices didn't kick in until the 30th but I was able to put in an order before that today or tomorrow. Sounds too good to be true though so I will assume not.

So I'm kinda drrr on the whole A Plan X Plan Y plan

My dealership just said they are not accepting any X Plan....

I have a A Plan....

I always bought GM products so I'm unsure of the whole lettering with Ford... Does this mean I need to locate a new dealer that will accept my A Plan?

Very disappointing increase. I would assume they know it'll qualify our else these cars will be sitting on the lot, this would be the most expensive model in its class sans the Model Y. VW has already announced 2023 pricing, and Chevy announced general pricing for the Blazer both of which are expected to get the 2023 credit.

My wife has a 2022 ID.4 it's a great car, I would give a sight nod to the Mach-E personally but top trim ER AWD ID.4 is $10,440 less than a Mach-E Premium ER AWD with this increase. I like the Mach-E better but it's not $10k better and certainly not almost $18k better if it doesn't get the tax credit.

Be no doubt, this is Ford declaring they think they are on par with Tesla.

So my dealer has just informed me they are already balanced out for 2023 Select models.

From the Electrek article:

• The panoramic sunroof will replace the black roof on GT and GT performance editions.

This would account for $1500 of the 7900 increase for the GT.
