My wife has been stealing my 2021 Premium way too often. Almost have her convinced to get a 2nd Mach-e.

For the 2023 there is only a difference of 2k between the Premium 91kwh and the GT (can't justify the price difference for the PE, even though Magneride is tempting). I know what you gain with the GT, but Ford makes it very difficult to compare standard features between trims. Other than the seats, external cosmetic and performance differences, are there any other functional differences between the two? Are they still removing kick sensors and other items related to the chip shortage for MY 2023?

The Order Guide lists all features for all trims. This is from last year, so it might have been updated, but it’s for the 2023 model year.

Besides the seats and interior trim I think it's the wheels with the red calipers, the faux grill front end and the body colored wheellip molding. There is no kick to open or park assist on any 2023.

I have a similar question, so I dug through the Ford website and found this rare document: MY2022 technical specifications by trim.

Day 2 after bringing home the new 23 GT!!!!!!!

Speed: Wow, I thought the Premium was fast! The same silly grin I got from driving the Premium 2 years ago is back and I can't help tapping the gas and taking off whenever I'm on an empty stretch of road. Slow, steady pressure on the gas pedal is deceptively smooth and crazy fast. Stomping the pedal sinks you back into the seat and rapidly doubles your speed. Need a light touch on the gas around turns and plenty of open road before hammering it.

Ride: Very similar. Still a little bouncing but the steering and suspension seem more responsive and more stable at the same time (obviously not a car guy). Magneride would be amazing in this car, but I couldn't justify the price difference.

Braking: Seems more responsive but it could just be 16k mile brakes vs 100 mile brakes.

Comfort: Seats are different but just as comfortable. Steering wheel is tilted towards windshield, different but not a big deal to me.

Looks: Lots of attention from people trying to figure out what a GT SUV is.

Summary: Same great car but ridiculously fast (can't even imagine the PE version and would have been a danger to society with me behind the wheel). No-brainer to pay the extra 2k for a GT over a Premium.

GT is a sec faster than Premium GT and you lose 20 miles of range. Only reason I went with Premium AWD instead is because we didn't want the black interiors. Those don't age well and look beaten within a year especially the cloth/alcantara material. Interior is where you spend most of the time (99%) and that matters most over the exterior black grille and red calipers. Also prefer the gloss black fender flares over the painted - look more sportier. Saved the 2-3k
