Wondering if made any difference above 60 mph (60-100 for example).I have noticed the pull, from 0 to 60+. It's not night and day, but it's there.
It’s been 3 years and we still have ZERO Dyno numbers for a Mach E GT.
Would be helpful to see a Dyno before and after upgrade to know what’s really happening. Or some acceleration comparisons and we can extrapolate.
However, based on the numbers, we KNOW this-
1 speed transmission.
480h peak either way. 600 vs 700 peak tq.
Since hp= tq x rpm/5252, we know that peak tq is well under 5252 rpm (if you had 700 tq at that rpm, you would have 700 hp).
Based on how my car accelerates, peak torque comes in around 30 mph (around 3000 rpm).
I would expect the 700 peak tq to feel similarly.
We also know that power starts getting pulled on a 2021-2023 at 72mph and above.
We don’t know if the same is true for a 2024 GT without the perf upgrade.
If not, the performance upgrade is really just going to be felt at low speeds (0-40mph or so).
Either way, I would totally pay for this given the option.
