I've had my 2025 Premium for a couple of weeks now, and today I had my dogs with me for the first time. I just noticed that when I shut it off, I didn't get the message about disabling the motion sensors for the alarm. With my 2023 MME (after an OTA update about a year or so ago), I always got a message on the screen every time I turned off the car, asking if I wanted to disable the motion sensors.
Since the message didn't pop up, I went through the settings screen, and I couldn't find any settings about the alarm system in general, and definitely nothing about turning off the motion sensor specifically. When I got home, I checked the PDF owner's manual for the 2025, and in the section about the alarm system, there is no mention anymore about the motion sensors.
Does anyone know if Ford removed the interior motion sensors from the 2025 MMEs? In threads about the changes for 2025, I never saw anything about the motion sensors being removed. I wonder if Ford quietly removed them from the 2025s thinking nobody would even notice.
To be honest, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if they did remove it, because it was always a pain to remember to turn it off when my pups were in there. ?
