21G01 failure

Had dealer do the Blue Cruise update. Took a complete day. We are 80 miles from a Blue Cruise highway so,they didn’t test it. I drove it down to I-90 for the test today. ”Blue Cruise Not Availablue” on IPC. Adaptive Cruise no longer works either. Don’t know what to do next. The dealer tech said he had a terrible time doing the update. Had to do system reset twice to program different modules. Are these guys factory trained or do the just get a manual and a,”good luck.
when I was an IT director in my work life I sent my techs to factory training.

Check out the thread on SSM50824, that is the fix and it just came out on June 3, so if your dealer installed before then, there is a good chance you have the failed installation. Mine is going back to the dealer tomorrow for the fix.

I just came back from the dealer to schedule my service appointment for all the recall work to the windshields, OTA updates, PAAK, Blue Cruise….five in total. gGrilled the service manager to make sure that they have had success in applying these updates and as well as their outsourcer for the windshield work. Just want to avoid the poor experiences that others have communicated here where the car has been in the shop for weeks instead of just days.
