Was reviewing one of the letters I got from Ford on Program 21G01 and thought I'd let folks know that the program expires 30 September 2022.

What this means is that your dealer techs are getting paid under this program to install BlueCruise on 2021 "Job 1" vehicles that came from the factory equipped with the hardware but not the software to make it work.

So if you are in this category, have not gotten BlueCruise through the OTA process yet, and would like to get that working this is a reminder that you have until 30 September to do so.

Good reminder, but very likely they will extend that IF all vehicles haven't been updated.

It’s been going great getting it OTA for those that can, no need to see the dealer, I’m just one update away from Blue cruisin and I didn’t have to deal with the blank stares and misinformation from a service rep or wait two days with a Nissan Altima rental.

I wish I had seen this post earlier.

I only realized this after running into https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/do-i-have-bluecruise-can-someone-help.22564/ thread.

What can I do now?
See the thread here on programming it yourself if you're willing to spend about $700 in parts and feel brave enough to do it.

Since you don't have BC yet, you are in the same boat I was a week ago before I did it all myself following that guide. Takes about 11 hours, so set-aside a full day if you choose to do it.

Otherwise, you'll probably just want to wait for the OTA at this point, because I haven't heard that it's been extended as a program with the dealers yet. (Doesn't mean it hasn't, but I haven't heard that it has.)
