Hey Everyone!
Curious if anyone else has seen this issue, I have my Mach E set to charge to 90%, the Ford Connect Home Charger does charge it to 90%, but the blue light on the front of the charger keeps pulsating with the blue light, which is supposed to indicate that its currently charging, even though its already stopped at 90%.

I see that the car isnt receiving any further charge and remains at 90%.

Has anyone seen this? Any solutions to get the charger to shut off and go into standby mode once its done charging?

Thanks!!

Do you mean the Ford Connected Charge Station? Is this minutes later or 2 hours later?

Even a 3rd party EVSE is not necessarily going to "shut off" just because the Mach-E is programmed to stop receiving a charge beyond a predetermined percentage.

My Emporium L2 EVSE reports "Vehicle refusing charge" via the Bluetooth App that manages it.

Its just so odd that they can program it to immediately start sending a charge to the vehicle, or to even set a schedule to send the charge, but it can't go into standby mode once the vehicle has filled the battery to its intended level. Especially if its a Ford vehicle with a Ford charging station. You'd think they can talk to each other easier considering they are in the same app on our phones. ?‍♂

Its about a half hour after its reached its percentage capacity. Yes, the Ford Connected Charge Station. I ended up just unplugging it to get it to go into standby mode.

Not necessary to unplug it.

The car only draws current from an EVSE when it wants it. If the FCCS blue light was wide and pulsing and the car reached its stop point, then perhaps the vehicle was maintaining its low voltage (12V) battery, or preconditioning for a scheduled departure. Otherwise the blue pulsing should return to solid blue within a few minutes.
