'25 Headlight Recall - Time to complete?

I was supposed to get my new '25 Select (upgrading from '22 Select) this past weekend, however the dealer called to say they had to do the headlight recall first.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this and if so how long it took to get done - I'm hopeful to get it on the 1st so that gives them this week to get it done.

@PL281 letters to owners should go out this week (supposedly). Dealers do have to fix it, though, before they can sell inventory. Press the dealer to find out if the fix even exists. If not?

My understanding is that they do have a fix it maybe they needed to get the part in stock

If you're concerned about the tax credit expiration, "all" you need is to be under a binding contract that includes a token payment or trade-in. IIRC anyway.

Still, I'd press them a bit on the issue.

Recall parts are likely backed up right now. Message me your VIN and dealer info and I can see if I can find an ETA for you.

Thank you - I just sent a DM - the dealer has a 2nd one in transit that looks like it is not affected by the recall - so if it is going to be a while I may go with that one
