3/20/2023 Build Week

aight... whelp, maybe you guys can help me decipher the batch/sequence from my window sticker... with another build week starting next week, not too confident they're going to keep up with over 500 a week...

But I'm not a factory worker or manager...

They do multiple batches a week .. last year they were building about 1500 cars per week .. with the factory upgrades this year, they should have doubled that number ..
Someone used to track the batch numbers, but guessing he stopped

You should have received a notification a while back (probably by e-mail) from Ford about your build week. Go back to it and click the "Track My Order" button. It will load a page in your default browser with your order number and VIN. Click again at the bottom and it should open a new page with your order timeline and other information. I have trouble opening this page with Chrome on my computer but it works with Firefox. No idea why. You may not have this issue.

On this new page there is a link to view your window sticker. Some have been able to see the sticker before it has even been built, some only after it has been built, and some still can't see it even after it has been built. Again, no idea why.

Quick update, looking through https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt/Details
I finally have some module data populated!

(Mostly sharing/documenting here)

I do not see https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking/status/?vin= updated yet with _new_ information, but it is marked as updated 3/29/2023 suddenly.

I recall somewhere that Thursdays tend to be the magic day things are updated? (though 29th is a Wednesday)

The as build data is showing errors in PCM and CCC data so far when I download the data (a .ab file, can open with any text editor.)

Not sure if PCM or CCC are relevant to MachE or not?
PCM is probably Powertrain Control Module... BCE might be body control electronics or something?
PCM might not matter because it's an electric vehicle?

CCC could be Central Car Config - basically the master configuration for the car (all the features/items turned on off based on what was ordered/where its shipping etc.)... but back in 2011, I think it was only used by Ford Europe? or maybe just the ECU I was working on was excluded? (2013 Focus BEV Instrument Cluster - dual screen cluster, not the normal single screen on foci)

Anyone with a completely built up vehicle/shipped want to check end of that .ab file to see if there are any errors in PCM or CCC? (I'd discourage posting here as I'm not sure what info you might be/not be giving out)

Got my notice on March 16 that I was scheduled for production 3/20. Today I got a notice from Ford saying " While production of your vehicle was projected to begin the week of March 20, 2023, supply chain challenges continue to cause delays and uncertainty. " Anyone know if it is just Premiums that are affected?

Order tracking page shows built as of 30th. No email confirmation from Ford or Earnhardt shipping/ delivery date yet.

Same here... posted to the forum, then got the email from ford saying supply chain delays. Great synchronization of messaging from ford... 1 order tracing site says built, one says in production, then email saying is delayed still...

I called ford yesterday and they said ETA 4/23-29. My modules are saying done but never got the built email. Today I got the supply chain email.

There may actully be a short-term supply chain issue. That would explain why all of the 4/17 Build Week people (myself included) were just pushed into the following week.

Following all of the ins and outs of the order-to-build-to-delivery process feels like trying to put a puzzle together while missing a lot of key pieces, and then trying to figure out what the whole picture actually is. I just want my car!

I chatted with ford online just now and they said car was built as of 3/23 they are waiting for transport and ETA is 4/23-29. She said email came in error. Who knows they are a mess! Maybe due to increased production some cars are sitting and waiting transport. I just want my car.
