23 days from build to delivery! Someone else had a 22-day turnaround yesterday. They were in SoCal if I remember correctly. There's hope!

That article says "up to $7500." If you follow the link later in the article to the fueleconomy.gov website, you can enter 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E placed in service on or after 18 April and see it is only good for $3,750.

Edit: They want me to log onto Ford's website and "complete my purchase," but that still lists the MSRP before the reductions earlier this year. Guess I will be visiting the dealer first.

Edit2: I drove past the dealership to see if I could find it. I did.

Hmm, I got a Union Pacific rail car number from my dealer - when I call the 800-877-5123 to trace, it comes up with an origin of Flat Rock, MI (where gas-powered Mustangs are built?)

Anyone had luck understanding the traces from UP? (the old methods of pal's app and what not seems to be dead)

I always thought the UP route was from Loredo, TX-> Kansas City, MO -> Richmond, CA or something like that (Richmond is near SF, it would go on a truck down to my dealer in Morgan Hill)

Call the dealership and ask them to give you the railcar number (mine was something like BNSFXXXXXX). You can then call the rail company and get their estimated date.

I got it. We took delivery on Monday, but they kept it for a few days to tint the windows and powder coat the rims.

Our dealer experience is always good because my wife is the Ford Credit Business Development Manager for Las Vegas.

Lucky duck! Gorgeous car! I know director over there pretty well, but I'll call your wife if they give me any grief!

Congrats! I am planning to powder coat my wheels, also. Did you price shop that at all? I think the people who did hubby's motorcycle wheels charged something like $250 for both of them. Any thoughts on ceramic coating or other paint preservation? I ordered Star White, so I am not worried about fading, but am worried about the sun and rock chips. I will also have them tint it. And have a fit if they install a front plate bracket! I assume Las Vegas dealers know better than that on an order.
