3 months and still no OTAs .....

I'm in the UK and I have had my 23ME for 3 months and still had not OTA

I've used the FDRS thread and found my car was manufactured November 22 and has had not OTA updates at all.

SYNC 4 Software Version: 22280_PRODUCT Revision: 592 Ford Motor Company SYNC

I've followed my what heard and that is to have at least 3 bars of wifi (moved my access point to the window above the car) and driven it everyday. (At least twice a week I drive 3+ hours for work)

I know I read somewhere that there was an updated for some cars to fix a modem issue but not sure if I have that issue.

The report from the kind guys on the FDRS thread showed the number of updates needed.

Build date is 11/9/2022. I don't have access to FDRS at this time, but this is what PTS shows. Based on your Sync version, you also need several APIM/GWM updates as well as one or more TCU updates and an IPC update that is not shown here.

Any help appeciated, I called a local dealer and was just told to wait for OTA must be a better way.

At the very least there is meant to be one for Europe that changes the hands-free message to blue cruise. As I say when someone checked on FDRS a number of updates were needed and said that no OTAs had been downloaded at all.

Since I got my RFA module replaced, I’ve been getting updates in matter fact I went to go get the car just now and it told me to exit the car and wait about 10 minutes because there’s an update ready to install so I’m waiting

Today I’m getting like one update after another. I think I’ve got four lined up so far I’ve gotten the one for audio another one for the Tesla chargers that bill your blue card on file and a couple others.

I've had four in the last 24 hrs. The second said car would be unavailable 50 minutes which is by far the longest OTA in my 3+ years of mach es. All went thru without issue. The first three I backed into the garage and left windows down just in case

Yeah, I’m getting another one and it’s funny you go out there after it says update successful and you’re hitting there hitting the update button and it says update did not complete then it disappears and a button comes up saying there’s an update available now update and exit the car I guess they’re going through heck?

actually I got that earlier too. The update incomplete (or words to that effect) mean another update is ready to install. At first I thought it meant the update failed even tho fordpass said complete. I"ve gotten more OTAs this past 24 hrs than I have in ten months on my 23.

Yeah, I just got another one for the liftgate so that one plus the Tesla I’m not sure what the other ones were, is there a place in FordPass where you can see which update you got an update history? One was for the radio fix the background noise or something

you can only see the last update in fordpass. It would be nice if it would display an update history like it does charge history. I'm curious you said you got the liftgate update? Is this for liftgate only unlatching and then have to push button or fob button second time to fully open? That's one mine has had since day one. Would love that to be fixed without a dealer visit

My liftgate always opens all the way with the key fob or the phone or even pushing the button. The only time it opens up like about 5 inches if I just hit the button real quick and not hold it for a second, but I thought you could adjust that yourself with that button button that’s underneath there to open fully or halfway. Have you done all that?

it's a bug with some mach es. If the car is locked, if you hit the button on fob or liftgate, it pops the hatch and it may raise up a couple inches. You have to hit the button a second time to get it to fully open, it seems to only happen when locked.

Yeah, mine works just fine and I really like that lightning truck fob that I bought on eBay. It works real good. We just need to design an area to put a car jump system , cause you can’t carry in the car get locked out
