500 mile impression of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires

After, 44k miles on my original factory tires, I switched to the Michelin Pilot A Sport A/S tires in size 245/50R19 from the factory size 225/55R19. I have driven them for about 500 miles , 95% interstate driving.

1. Noticeably smoother ride
2. Range has not changed much. I averaged 3.1 KWh over 45,000 miles and with the new tires I am sitting at 3.0. Almost all of my driving is Interstate going 75-79mph.
3. There is a slight uptick in road noise, probably not noticeable to someone not in car everyday
4. Noticed no change in speed shown, car shows the same speed as Waze shows. I believe Waze uses GPS for speed but could be wrong.

So far I am happy with them, we will see what the next 40,000 bring.

I had them now for 18000 miles and great in snow and rain. Find them to be very quiet and takes bumps well. I didnt want summer tires so I will be selling them in spring with only 395 miles on them. I live in Valencia Pa selling $400.

Those are great tires. I’ve been running them for the past 10 years.
