When I picked mine up this week, I didn’t trade in a vehicle. I sold my trade-in first and then applied $15K of the profit to my MME. The dealership didn’t mention at a limit on my down payment or how much I could trade in. I wasn’t aware there was a limit in the Ford Options program, but it’s possible.

Did your dealer tell you it was a limit on the amount from the trade-in, or just a down payment limit?

My dealer told me that I would forfeit any amount over the max trade in value and they wouldn't be able to write me a check. Of course they also refused X Plan and tried to undervalue my trade in. Pretty sure they were full of shit about a lot of things.

I believe the limit applies to both trades and down payments. Fortunately we are getting a check cut back to us for the difference.

Forfeit the amount over max trade? That's a huge load of BS. Hopefully you took the trade somewhere else/private and just paid cash for now, you can always refi down the road.

Finally picked up my Ice White Pony on Saturday. Very smooth process, no fees, X-Plan accepted, no issues. Ordered 2/9/22 at the dealer on 7/28/22.

How did you get a license plate so quickly?

Picked up Mach-e last Friday. To now, we've seen only 2 Mach-e's in the wild (On Iceland and on Bainbridge Island). Look who we parked next to last night at the Mexican restaurant!

In Florida the license plate belongs to the owner not the car. Transferred from the car I sold. It also saves $300 on the new registration.

My car has been moved to "shipped" status now (between yesterday and today).

OrderTrack.app is now showing my car as In Transit. Built date was 7/2. The estimated delivery date is 8/3 - 8/9. Very excited!

@WNKent I remember yours was built a few days after mine so fingers crossed that you're next!

Interesting.. My dealer tells me delivery 8/19, Ford tells me 8/6 and it SEEMS that we are in the same area, maybe they are together? Where is the OrderTrack app?

I have booked at fremont ford. Mine is CONVOY CA84 on window sticker. Whats the status of your car? Is it in Mexico or somewhere already shipped.
I checked with ford chat, they told railcar is still in mexico.

No, I still got 1.9% and a good value on the trade. The rebate in TX was only $1k, so wasn't worth paying the taxes and going through the trouble of doing all that. But I'm writing the finance director a strongly worded email.
