This YouTube video did the trick for me. Worked in one try. Sharing in case anyone else is baffled

Interior and exterior with 7 year protection again almost all things?

hahahaha I love that. Dealerships are such a time suck and that whole process is exhausting.

Both are guaranteed but they are not necessarily the same rate.

This whole 11 month process has been frustrating, disjointed, irritating, and shrouded in mystery. Now my car is a week past the original delivery week, and there is no tracking information. Ford can and should do better than this.

Yeah, I was a week or so past delivery too. Hopefully you'll hear something soon.

Ford can do better in the future. Us early adopters had to deal with growing pains.

Yeah, I don't understand why the Mach-e's for our build week are already delivered in Denver (I've had mine a week), but you are still waiting.

Could be that I live in a small town, with a small dealer. Could be random. There's really no way to tell, but I assume it's the latter. No rhyme or reason to a lot of the process.

Heading to pick up my MME today, wish me luck it goes smoothly. My dealer did say that I would pay sticker price and Ford will honor the price and send me a check in 45-60 days

Presumably price protection. But the dealer should be willing to honor the original price and get reimbursed by Ford themselves.

My car recently shipped on 8/2 with an estimated date of 8/3-8/9. I figured the only way it could arrive in time is if they truck it directly from Lecheria. I checked in with Ford chat yesterday to get the latest status for my car. To my disappointment they stated that it's on Railcar # KCS 008350 from Lecheria.

I think this means it's on a train to Kansas City which implies at least 10 days to get there. Assuming it trucks from Kansas City straight to the dealer that's another 3 days at least. So the earliest we're looking at is probably 2 weeks from August 2nd with a more likely scenario of 3-4 weeks if they need to train it to Richmond, CA.

Of course this is all just speculation based off of what I read from other posters from the forum. @WNKent who was built just two days after me says the dealer is estimating 8/19 which sounds more correct than the Ford website.
