A good dash cam?

Any thoughts on a good dash cam for a 23 MME? I have been using a $100 super capacitor generic cam that seemed to be OK, but am looking for a newer version. Thanks

Depends on what features you want. My FitcamX is pretty basic with 4K front and 2K rear cameras, but it looks like Ford designed it into the car. Some others have cellular connectivity that you can tap into with their phone app. Some are just a front camera.

I have the FitcamX too. Front only for me. It's fine for what I need - just something recording in case of an incident. I do like that it looks more or less "factory."

I dont understand why OEMs are not universally allowing use of their cars' built-in cameras for recording.

I've had a Vava for four years now and only ever had to replace the Micro SD card. Tucks up by the rearview mirror real well.

I'm not sure about the question. I also ordered a FITCAMX. If you are interested in this brand they have an official store on AliExpress for a cheaper purchase option. You "pay" in waiting for shipping to arrive but its the same product, company, mfgr, as you would buy it off the fitcamx US website or Amazon.

I would say maybe even better. After I placed my order they reached out to me to send photo's of my mirror/plastic cover. They only shipped once they verified that piece I ordered was the correct one.

I have been using the Garmin Dashcam Mini 2 for about a year now with no problems. I was able to tuck it up behind the rear view mirror and it is not visible to the driver. It has verbal commands for taking a picture and saving a video as well as automatic saving. You can set the level of intensity so if you are spirited driver it is not constantly saving videos.
