Just over 2 months into ownership of my GTPE and, overall, I love it.
I work in software, so I have to temper myself when I see:
My MME replaced a black 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum that I blacked-out. Black powder coated rims, black roof rails, black grill, debadged except for black Nissan badges.... if it was chrome or not black, I had it blacked out.
In a 2014 model, I did not have CarPlay or Android Auto. I had analog gauges with a small 4" or 5" lcd screen between them. In that LCD screen, there was an image of the pathfinder on different screens. In the settings, I could pick the color of the little Pathfinder that showed up in that display.
This would seem an easy one. Ford has the VIN number of each car. They have the color of each car from the factory. Why not make the MME that shows up in the Sync system the same model and color as the car????
On a side note, the Synch theme should also change color with the drive mode.....
I work in software, so I have to temper myself when I see:
- Little things, and big things, that need to be fixed.
- Small tweaks that would take little work but make a big difference.
- Issues with their development methodology.
- Issues with their software architecture and release methodology
- etc.
