I received my A2Z Typhoon Pro v2 replacement for the original Typhoon v1 this past Fri, 27 Dec. I tested on Sat, 28 Dec and it actually works better than a separately purchased Typhoon Pro v2 (see below).
Even though I already purchased and used the Typhoon adapter, I actually ordered the updated Typhoon Pro right when it was announced and received an early version of that updated design. It never worked right...wouldn't work with Plug & Charge. I called A2Z and they sent me a Typhoon Pro replacement. They said I had the v1 Pro and they would send the v2 Pro as a replacement. When I got it, the visible difference was there were visible screws holding the bottom piece on the NACS barrel. The v2 Pro has no visible screws. While this one works, it seems harder than it should be to insert into the CCS port on the MME and also seems harder than it should be to insert the NACS connector. This replacement I just received seems to work flawlessly. I'll keep the earlier one as a backup to this new one.
Also, my emails never gave a link to a video explaining how to disable the original adapter, like others have mentioned. It does mention they'll create a return shipping label, but I have yet to receive that.
