I think I am in the wrong thread. What I received was a replacement adapter from Ford, which I guess is having their own recall on early adapters. If it was identical to your old one you shouldn’t have got a replacement period.
V1 had a manual lock switch, the new ones do not.
On 11/26/2024, I received an e-mail from A2Z with the subject line, "A2Z EV : Return & Exchange - Your exchange request #EX001xxxx status was updated to Exchanged". In that e-mail, there was a line, " Next Steps: Click Here". That page said, " we ask you to safely dispose of your V1 adapter by following the steps outlined in this video: https://bit.ly/3O6Oj9f" That video showed bending the communication pins and then recycling the adapter. What exactly are we supposed to do with the "bad" adapter?
What was your order number?I received my replacement adapter on Friday. Though oddly they then sent me a follow up email Fri afternoon asking if I'd somehow received two adapters, which I hadn't. ?. All in all seems to be a good company though.
Nothing for me since the Nov 27th email.Has anyone gotten anything (follow-on e-mails or the actual replacement adapter) since the flurry of e-mails on November 26-28th? Could it be that the Canadian postal strike is holding things up?
My exchange number is in the very low 1500s and I received the two emails on Nov 27. Seems like we’re getting close to shipping.November 25th I got 2 emails (updated changed to exchanged order and update changed to approved order). Today December 10th I got an order shipped email with tracking number. My exchange number is just below 1200.
I received a shipping email today as well.I just received an email this afternoon that the replacement adapter is shipped — along with a Canada Post tracking number.
