We took our first long road trip (NC to SC) this week and all went well, but I did stop by a Tesla Supercharger that was nearest to where we were staying. It was obvious that it would not work for my 2024 Mach-E, so can someone say which specific adapter do I need to use the Tesla charger? So far, I have used Charge Point, Electrify America, and EV Connect with no problems. I want to ensure I have all the options available for distance traveling.
One other oddity (to me) was that the Tesla charging station in Greenville, SC had an extremely short cable....even with an adapter I don't think I could have charged there. Is this typical?
Thanks for any guidance!
