Adapter Umbrella for high heat location

Earlier on this forum, I asked vendors about a “keep the adapter cool” solution, like a mini umbrella. No takers. I started searching, and as a photographer hobbyist, I bought an adjustable hot-shoe flash reflector. See this:

It serves its purpose of keeping the adapter in the shade (see photo).

I don’t know how well the materials will hold up, but maybe it will give accessory vendors an idea.
