I have a charging location programmed to limit charge to 90% at home. That' s been working perfect since last July. Yesterday, after a 10 mile trip the car was plugged in and charged to 100%. I saw folks were having this issue 2 years ago and the consensus was a wrong GPS coordinate was the cause. That's not what happened to me as the charge log clearly shows that session was at my home address.

Today, I toggled the location based charging button off and on again. I also went through my home location settings without charging anything, but clicked save anyways. We shall see if it charges to 100% again today after our trip today and the 8pm charging start time kicks in.

I'm curious if others have had this sporadic problem that's not related to the wrong GPS location being reported.

When this happened to me recently, it turned out that I (or maybe my wife) somehow selected the "Charge to 100% when plugged in" option accidentally for one of the locations. I felt like an idiot after a lot of unnecessary troubleshooting.

Good to know. I'm not sure how my wife could have done that because I'm the IT dude in the family and I still have a hard time finding that button before a road trip. :p

It occurred to me that it could easily have happened while I was scrolling through the screen that shows the list of charging locations in the FordPass app. Maybe a bad "swipe" that accidentally clicked that option rather than scrolling the list.

I could never get that button to work before my road trip 3 weeks ago. I had to go to the car and deselect the location based charge feature.
