HVB Charge limit setting

Sorry to be clueless, but I can't find the method for setting the Mach-E's charge limit to 80-85%. Thanks for the info.

Go to Charge Settings and click on the edit button to create a charge schedule. Part of that schedule allows you to set a limit.


I keep mine at 80% and charge 20-80%. We use it mostly for local drives. If we are going on a long trip I will charge to 100% first night. I only charge to 80% if going to a "Charge Station"

And another thing to note is that you cannot set a charging location until after you've charged there once. This means that the first time you charge anywhere, your car will charge to 100% unless you stop it first. WhyTF did Ford do that?

The Lightning has the capability to set a one-time limit that applies to your next charge regardless of location, but there is no permanent, location-agnostic limit.

I believe the Lightning has a pre-set 90% DC charging limit. The Mach-E doesn't have that.

A very knowledgeable Lightning owner explained that DC charging will default to 90%, unless you override it.

Right, I’d heard the same regarding DC. My confusion was regarding L2.
