Alexa Keeps Signing Out

Ooh, that’s an interesting connection you just made. I’ve only noticed the Connected Services bug happening once, but I’ve been logged out of Alexa plenty. Next time it happens, I’ll check to see if the menu is missing too.

Definitely a theory, I could be wrong, but it makes sense.

Checking after the fact to see if the menu items are present won't substantiate or refute @Logal727's hypothesis since the services list may be intermittently available from its source.

In other words, you'd have to check the exact same list that the Alexa module is checking, but we don't have visibility to it. However Ford should, via their log files.

My Alexa is working again but before the ota update I was able to just say Alexa and get a response........now I have to push the speaker button to get Alexa to answer

i dont use it that often but noticed it the other day it wasn’t working with the wake word Alexa. I got 4.1.1 back on Jan 28th and probably it signed me out there. I got 4.1.2 the other day and went into Alexa settings on the car, signed out, and signed back in, and it works again.

Yep, seems to work for a couple days and then signs out again and gotta do the whole process over

Having the same issue and just found this thread after reconnecting my account for about the 10th time. This seems to have coincided with the new UI. Every other day it's like a new software bug. I don't remember the Sync system being so bad in my Raptor.

I think 4.x might have broken wake words in general. I believe I read someone saying they can't even get ford's assistant working with it, have to use the button.

Wake word works when Alexa is signed in for me, she just keeps signing out once or twice a week

It's interesting that we experience dramatically different sign out frequencies. My vehicle has stayed signed in for about 2-3 weeks now I think.

This morning Alexa wouldn't tell me the weather. Instead it was a red bar across the top of SYNC and a spoken message along the lines of "Alexa can't reach the network right now. Check your connectivity." Or something like that...

Anyway, it started working again about 5-10 minutes later into the drive.

The reason I asked Alexa for the weather? Well, my Ford connected navigation functions are still broken. So no weather there, and Google Android Auto also failed to connect this morning. Weird voodoo.

This seems to be fixed with the latest updates, Alexa hasn’t signed out since I got 4.2.2. Also my connectivity menu always shows up now.
