Starting a thread on this cause I know a few users keep experiencing this as I do. Seems every couple days Alexa signs out and you gotta reconnect your Amazon account again. Not sure if this is on Amazon side or Ford side, but maybe people can come here to chime in if they want. (In before Alexa haters take this off-topic)

Same, although I don't know the exact frequency of our separations. Alexa and I usually mind our own business while driving. I control steering (sometimes) and listen to podcasts, while she reads books.

If you're going through OTAs that's normal, otherwise I'd start with fuses/battery lift. Probably worth waiting until you have 4.1.3 installed before you bother with anything.

Mine was signing out of Alexa even before my APIM was replaced at the start of January.

I've pulled fuses and performed at least 3-4 Master Resets since then (while trying to get Connected Navigation working, which still isn't btw)... None of this impacts Alexa, so far. She walks out of the room before I can politely and meekly ask her to order tissues and chocolate.

My vehicle got the 4.1.1 update late last year but nothing since.

I guess I’m tired, but I initially read the title as Alexa keeps singing out.

At least you don’t have that to contend with…?

I know, right? Imagine the mischief what Alexa and HAL would get into in @B25Nut's vehicle!

Do you have the new UI? Any clues in bezel diagnostics?

That's weird. Mine never signs in. In fact, it is almost like she doesn't exist at all.

Mine worked great but since the 4x it hasn't, mine won't sign in, I get the screen url, the process on my phone seems to work but then the car screen never updates that setup is complete.

It doesn’t seem hardware related, it’s like Amazon authentication bug

Mine has been doing it about every two days since the latest EA updates. I like having the feature to make announcements at home, but otherwise don't miss it. At this point I've just given up on it for now.

No and no.

Sometime around a week ago, right when I started the vehicle there was a message at the top of the SYNC display. It said something along the lines of, "You've been signed out of your Alexa account."

I didn't see that message any other time it signed me out. But since it was right when I started the vehicle and SYNC can take awhile to get its bearings most of the time, it's quite possible it attempted to let me know on other occasions, too.

So I found this on the Connected Services site in the Alexa section and I think I figured out what's going on and it's related to another bug that showed up in 4.1.2
Ford Mustang Mach-E Alexa Keeps Signing Out 1676669637069

The bug I'm talking about is one where the Connected Services menu doesn't load in the car, it's like it's waiting on a server response (which we know it uses because you can see in the JSON that all those settings are in there) and times out.

This only happens every so often. So the Alexa integration sees that there is no Share Vehicle Data Yes agreement so it logs out of Alexa/Amazon. So this should be fixed if the Connected Services dropdown bug gets fixed in a next version. Hopefully anyone who knows someone with Ford could pass along this info to the relevant team, that would be appreciated.

Ooh, that’s an interesting connection you just made. I’ve only noticed the Connected Services bug happening once, but I’ve been logged out of Alexa plenty. Next time it happens, I’ll check to see if the menu is missing too.
