Got the same email for our Premium (order accepted 11/30). I'm guessing they went through another allocation round and you either got an email with a build date or you got a worthless, teaser email letting you know you did not make the latest build schedule (again). Wish I would have known what I know now and would have put deposits down at a variety of dealerships since this is definitely not based on your place in line based on order! Just bought a RAV4 Prime (plug-in hybrid) to hold us until the MEE comes.

Literally minutes ago I received this email from Ford and, though it’s been 2.5 months since I’ve received any communication from the Blue Oval company, this is at least something!

I got the same message last week. Don’t think it’s spam, just Ford getting us pumped up as our cars are getting closer to production.

Today, I got a VIN for my GTPE order and that order never received these e-mails. My other Premium order got spammed with these fake updates

PS: During our order "waiting period" I received dozens of marketing emails, bragging about Ford products, patting me "on the back" for choosing Ford, but never an acknowledgment of the order delay, or reasons why. I consider that type of callus marketing "brand arrogance" and somewhat unforgivable.

One would think a corporation as large as Ford would have marketing people that understand these types of emails have the opposite of their intended effect. You almost feel like they are trolling you.

We just bought a RAV4 Prime as we couldn’t wait an unspecified time for a 3rd car. Will decide what to do with MME whenever it decides to come.
