Kicking off this thread in the hopes of getting more visibility into the ACM and issues/solutions.

Issue 1:
I have removed my B&O DSP and completely replaced the audio system. My new Audiotech Fisher DSP feeds all speakers in the car, including the front 3 dash speakers.

I don’t get the the Mach-E song when I enter or exit the car, even though I thought that all sound gets routed over to the B&O DSP, but apparently not. It keeps me wondering as to whether there are any other sounds that I am missing.

Does anyone with an inside connection to Ford know, or can they ask? I am most concerned about safety related sounds.

Note that I do get the cross-traffic beeps and the beeps when a warning comes up on the display.

are there supposed to be beeps when you go 5mph above the speed limit for example? How about when you get too close to the person in front of you and the little car on you dash shows orange between you and the car in front of you?

I just got the new ACM update and it has thrown my finely tuned aftermarket system way off base ?. Basically there is a huge boost in bass.
In the end it’s no big deal as I can use the SW that comes from my DSP manufacturer to re-tune, but want to make sure they are not forcing a non-flat sound curve on me.

Maybe they just changed the default curve and I can change it back in ForScan?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have the original system and the last AUD update I got made the system worse, tinnier than before. Hopefully I’ll get the new update soon, sounds like It may help a lot.

I checked FORScan and no DSP changes. Yet I no longer need the boost to bass. It’s too powerful. In the meantime I just dropped the output for the sub and the seat transducers. It does mean I will have to go back and re-measure DB levels and retune. Not a big deal and will only take a couple of hours.

I did notice in FORScan that there is an option to disable center speaker. I wonder if that will would reroute those sounds to left and right? If the issue is in fact that those sounds go straight from ACM to center (a fact I don’t yet know to be true).

I'm thinking the 6chan hosery is actually pre-amp level adjustments made in SYNC which is why we can't manage to find and unhose them.

I know I saw other things in ForScan about alerts and audio, sprinkled all over and not just in the ACM. Perhaps a search in the spreadsheet will turn up other options. But I think it's bus level info being sent to the B&O DSP for those sounds as it's mixed to the center channel.

I have tried everything, and the speakers are like fingernails on chalkboard!!!!! I sent in feedback from inside the car, but it's getting worse and worse. I moved the fader to the back seat and reduced the mid-range to zero, but any system messages and even startup sounds still buzz and pop from the center speaker. I am afraid to pop off the dash panel to remove the center speaker in case I break a clip or something. I don't have access to FORSCAN or any of the other inside magic y'all have. Is there anything I can do?

Did the SYNC salute several times. I'll try the battery thing this afternoon. :-(

I doubt that I'm alone in not immediately knowing what ACM stands for. It would help to define that in the thread title.

Oddly I received and applied (twice) the 6-chan audio update OTA. However looking in PTS (ford system) I have a DSP update still pending. Wondering if they're paired and not in sync yet. Going to try to push that one next weekend via FDRS.

Last updated in Feb, which was when the ACM was as well, during my HVJB replacement. Unless the date is a software build date and not the update date.
