Hello, I really love my Mach E GT. But as an android user, while listening to music or podcast from spotify, youtube or storyteller, my android auto suddenly disconnects. This happens in certain locations of my commute. Is there someone having the same issue? Do you have a solution for this?

My second question is, the wireless charger does not charge my phone a lot. Is this an issue or normal for wireless chargers, are they really slow like this?

Unfortunately I have the same issue. My wireless Android Auto sometimes disconnects and then reconnects in a few seconds.
Sorry to say I do not have a solution to this, connecting via wire doesn't seem to help either.
This happens a couple of times per week

Yep--happens to me, too. There is a spot in downtown Minneapolis on 8th street between 2nd and 3rd avenue where wireless Android Auto drops every single time (at least it did last fall; haven't tried recently). Since it happens reliably in that spot, I've assumed it was some kind of interference. Haven't figured out a solution.

I am not having the disconnects so I can't speak to that but wireless android auto uses quite a bit of power so your wireless charging, while inherently slower, is also fighting against constant map data usage, streaming, and wireless projection. Wireless is more like a stop loss on the phone's charge as opposed to charging.

Though I will say while my Pixel 6 was still slowly losing power while using wireless charging, my S22 ultra does actually charge from it. Albeit maybe 1% every 10 miles.

Hi I also live in Minneapolis. Near the University of Minnesota and in a cross section I pass everyday in my neighborhood, the Android Auto disconnects suddenly. I believe it is associated with wi-fi or internet. I tried the cable, cleaning the cache, updating the phone, android auto or car software, nothing fixed it. After a while it may connect back again, but there were times, I failed connecting the android auto back manually. Only way to fix it was stopping the car, leaving the car, sitting back and re-turning on the car.

In my experience, the frequent disconnects occur when I first get a new phone. When I first got my car the phone would loose bluetooth connection while driving. After a few weeks it got much better and was maintained connection fairly consistently. A month or two later I got a new phone and it was better but did loose connection once or twice a day for the first few weeks. Then it was nearly rock solid for the next 9 or 10 months. Then about a month ago I got a new phone again. Same thing with loosing connection. Frequently at first but now it's once every day or two and seems to be getting better each day. By this time next week I should be fine and ready for the next 9 or 10 months of trouble free connectivity.

Then next year I'll do it all over again I guess.....

Hey did you ever get this sorted out? I recently found a thread where someone else was having a similar issue, and it turned out their phone was connecting to free Xfinity wifi hotspots when they drove around. They disabled that and wireless Android Auto worked again.

Huh...that's interesting, and I do have Xfinity. If that's what's going on, though, I wonder why I don't lose Android Auto, say, when I hit my driveway and my phone finds my home network.

I'm curious to see if this got it sorted for you. It seems like something Android Auto should be able to fix but they may not really know how much of a problem it is.
