Incorrect, most users remain on Android 16, as I am with my Samsung S24+.Android 17 related
password managers (Google, Edge, etc) in Android are only applied with user interaction. They will not automatically work in the background to login an account for an application.I cleaned all of these to go down to my current PW and the Passkey.
Pixels always get new Android first.My Pixel 10 updated to Android 17 last week. Ford app works fine for my Lightning and Mach-e, no problems.
Like I said, it was a whim, but the app login kept asking me to choose which account, so I narrowed it down to only the one choice. Another factor must be in play for your Ford App installation working correctly or not enough time has passed for it to sign-out/freeze again.

Risky... Ford hasn't opened the API to external clients and at any moment may lock your Ford account for an unauthorised source.There is a Ford integration for Homeassistant
Had the same issue where had to sign-in everytime on version 6.16.0. Had to uninstall/reinstall from Google store and it installed version 6.15.0 and it fixed the sign-in issue. I also cleared cache and data before the uninstall to no success.Android 16, S24+, Ford 6.16.0
Was doing blank screen needing a force stop.
Now requiring a sign-in all the time...
